Colin A. Courten is the founder and president of CGC Technologies. He holds a B.S. in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), is a Microsoft Certified Professional, ITIL Certified and Cisco Certified Network Engineer.

Mr. Courten has over twenty years of progressive experience in the IT industry and is an expert in designing, implementing and troubleshooting enterprise level network infrastructure. He is also highly proficient in implementation, configuration and support of complex routed, switched and heterogeneous networks to ensure network availability, reliability and redundancy. Prior to founding CGC Technologies, Mr. Courten worked as a Senior Network Engineer with various organizations including Quantam Dynamics at McFord AFB in Washington, Corporation Service Company (WA), SMARTECH (Department of Defense) Quantico, VA. He maintains high level security clearance with the Department of Defense.
